Rita Kiameh is the heart and soul of Menzaman Jewelry. Her designs reflect the places that she has visited and lived, and the cultures that intersected along her way.
Since childhood, Rita’s passion lies with the cultures of the Phoenicians, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Andalusians, Ottomans, and many more. They all left behind a tapestry of knowledge, stories, and artifacts that have inspired her vision for bold designs.
Her lifetime love for jewelry making fulfilled the need to create something beautiful and helped her through the long years of medical studies. With her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, she began her professional career in dentistry.
Her love for jewelry making grew to a passion that she nourished and solidified with extensive hands-on training in different techniques and Metallurgy. Today, she is focusing her passion and time to her jewelry craft and growing Menzaman.
In addition to her medical degree, and more than 15 years of jewelry making experience, Rita is a graduate of New York Fashion Institute of Technology as a Fashion Jewelry Designer and recently student of the Gemology Institute of America, the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones, and pearls.
